Date: 7/11/2014 | At this time both Sandy and I would like offer our condolences. We know that all of you will greatly miss your Aunt. She was like one of my aunts just as Aunt Grace was one of yours.
One of highlights in my memory of Katie was back in the summer of 1961; she and Uncle Addie took a car full of us kids to Pittsburgh to watch the Pirates play at Forbes Field. I am not sure who all went to this game, but do remember Tom and Ron were in this group; there was a car full of Kids.
Of course how could we forget the summer evening and Sunday afternoons at the swimming pool. The pool sure beat hanging around Grampa's house pulling weeds under Aunt Grace's eye.
Unfortunately, we are not going to be able to make it for the services; for we are in the middle of blueberry season. We will have all of you in our prayers.
