Date: 7/20/2020 | For as long as I can remember the Burgards were friends of my parents, all members of First Baptist down the street. They loved him and Francis, and, of course, he was involved often with our family cars. I can remember being home from Chicago where I work, having a car crisis and him taking the project on no matter what the day and rescuing the situation. He was quiet and kind. I will never look across the tracks on the other side of the creek without thinking of him and Francis. |
