Gerald W. "Jerry" Warman Jr.

Died: 9/11/2012

Gerald W. "Jerry" Warman Jr. age 79, of Valencia, passed away Tuesday September 11, 2012, in Shelbourne Personal Care, Butler. Born in Allegheny County, November 17, 1932, he was the son of the late Gerald W. and Anna Skala Warman Sr.

Jerry was of the Prostestant Faith. He was an iron worker, working out of Local Union #3, Pittsburgh. He was a Sgt. in the United States Marines, serving during the Korean War.

With a great love of football, he coached South Butler Packers, and the South Butler Falcons. He had been the head football coach for Moniteau and Curwensville High Schools, and the assistant football coach at Chartiers-Houston, and Mars High Schools.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy R. Monahan Warman on April 2, 2008, one brother, one sister, and a son-in-law.

He is survived by two daughters, Linda (John) Mifflin of Tampa, Florida, and Diane Carney of Cranberry Township, three sons, Gary and Glenn Warman, both of Valencia, and Darrin Warman of Neville Island; one sister, Geraldine (Paul) Pindroh of Valencia, two brothers, Jim (Brenda) Warman of Indina, and Warren Warman of Butler; seven grandchildren and one great grandson.

Friends and relatives will be received on Thursday September 13, 2012, from 1 to 3 P.M. at the Kinsey-Volz Funeral Home, 328 West Main St., Evans City, Pa 16033. Funeral Services will follow at 3 P.M. from the Funeral Home, with his nephew, Paul Pindroh officiating.
