Mary Jean Harris Beck, age 81, of Cranberry Township, passed away Monday evening December 31, 2012, in UPMC Cranberry Place, Cranberry Township.
Born in Sewickley, Feburary 25, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Ian M. and Edith Thompson Harris.
She was of the protestant Faith.
She had retired as a secretary from the Cranberry Water and Sewage Authority with over 30 years service.
She was preceded in death by one son, David S. Beck.
Surviving are two sons, Robert (Brenda) Beck of Harmony, and James (Sally) Beck of Perkasie, PA; 2 sisters, Jan (Ted) Snyder of Virginia Beach, VA. and Edith "Snooks" Ervin of Chicago, IL; one brother William Harris of FL, also 9 grandchildren.
Friends and relatives of Mary Jean Beck, who died December 31, 2012, will be received at the Kinsey-Volz F.H. 114 West Spring Street, Zelienople, Pa 16063, on Thursday January 3, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will follow at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Schar of Springdale United Methodist Church Officiating.
