Charles A. Nachreiner, age 84, of Evans City passed away Thursday morning, June 19, 2014 in the Village of Penn Woods Hospice, Pittsburgh.
Born April 23, 1930, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Herman J. and Mary Siebert Nachreiner.
Chuck was a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church, Evans City.
A retired carpenter, he worked out of Carpenters Union # 142 Pittsburgh.
Chuck served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by one son, five sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy A. Schultheis Nachreiner; one daughter, Ms. Sandra Mitchell of Evans City; one son, Gerald (Carmella) Nachreiner of South Park; one sister, Ruth Clark of Cleveland, OH.; five grandchildren and one great grandson.
Friends of Charles A. Nachreiner of Evans City, who died Thursday June 19, 2014 will be received on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City from 5-8 P.M. A Blessing Service will be at 10:30 A.M. Monday from the funeral home with Rev. Father Larry Smith his pastor officiating.
The family has suggested memorial donations be made to the Butler Co. Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Rd., Renfrew, PA 16053
