Richard J. Urban Jr., age 53, of Butler passed away suddenly Sunday morning Nov. 30, 2014 at his residence of natural causes.
Born December 29, 1960 in Butler he was the beloved son of Richard Sr. and Eleanor Duncan Urban.
He had worked as a welder for Viking Trailers, Butler. He was a master mechanic and welder.
Rich was an avid hunter. He also was a Nascar Fan and he was a computer Geek.
He served in the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Fleming Urban January 4, 2014.
He is survived by two daughters, Kristel (John) Moritz of N. Versailles and Angela Gear of Zelienople; one son, Kent (Amanda) Daugherty of Evans City; two sisters, Kimberly Urban Koser of Barkeyville and Deborah (Dave) Jackson of Mars; one brother Wayne (Lisa) Urban of Butler, and his parents of Evans City; three grandchildren, three nieces, three nephews and one grand niece.
A memorial service for Richard J. Urban Jr. will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday Dec. 4, 2014 at The A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City, PA.
Memorial donations may be made to Mrs. Richard Urban, 7823 Franklin Rd., Evans City, PA 16033, to help defray funeral expenses.
