Phyllis J. Jespersen

Died: 6/7/2015

Phyllis J. Smith Jespersen, 62 of Evans City, passed away Sunday morning June 7, 2015 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.

Born in Butler on September 15, 1952, she was the daughter of Ella Mae Kohler Smith and the late Philip L. Smith.

Phyllis was a member of Crestview Community Church, Callery where she was active in church functions.

She had worked for M.S.A. for 17 years. Then with her brother in Smith's Cabinet Shop in Evans City before going to work for Giant Eagle.

Her past-times were woodworking, cooking, gardening and her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, David Jespersen who she married June 20, 1975; he mother, Ella Mae Smith of Evans City; one daughter, Dana Leah Jespersen of Evans City, one sister, Lois (John) Kearns of Renfrew; one brother, William C. (Pamela) Smith of Evans City; also many nieces and nephews.

Friends of Phyllis J. Smith Jespersen of Evans City, who died Sunday, June 7, 2015, will be received on Monday June 8, 2015 from 7-9 P.M and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City, PA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Crestview Community Church, Callery, with her pastor Rev. Robert Goossen officiating.
