Ruby J. Shidemantle McNichol , age 83, of Portersville passed away Friday afternoon November 13, 2015 with her loving family by her side, in UPMC Passavant.
Born June 13, 1932 in Portersville, she was the daughter of the late Blaine and Susan Bauder Shidemantle.
She was of the Presbyterian Faith.
Ruby was self employed as an Auctioneer. She enjoyed collecting the items she had been hired to sell.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Judy Scheidemantle on November 1, 2009.
Survived by her husband, Robert McNichol; one daughter Cindy (Norman) Scheidemantle Giles of Harmony; one son, Martin Scheidemantle of Alaska; one sister, Grace Cheeseman of Portersville; three granddaughters, Aislinn Kastelan of Denver,CO., Eliza and Ellen Scheidemantle of Washington, PA.
A gathering of friends will be held for Ruby J. Shidemantle McNichol on Tuesday November 17, 2015 at 6-7 P.M at the Portersville Presbyterian Church, 1297 Perry Highway. A memorial service will follow with Rev. Dana Opp officiating.
