Betty J. Smith Goehring, age 89 of Evans City passed away Thursday December24, 2015 in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Jackson Twp. August 30, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Levi C. and Amanda Householder Smith.
Betty was a member of St. Peters Reformed Church, Zelienople.
She was a loving Mother and Grandmother and cherished the time spent with them.
Betty enjoyed gardening and had a beautiful flower garden.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph E. Goehring who she married November 29, 1947; one daughter, Debra (Thomas) Macino, Niles, OH.; one son, James (Jeanette) Goehring, Callery; two sisters, Hazel Smith, Evans City and Alice (James) Bauer, Poolesville, OH; four grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
As per her wishes visitation and services were private.
Burial was in the Evans City Cemetery.
