William Edward Gongloff

William Edward Gongloff, 69 of Connoquenessing, passed away suddenly Thursday morning, December 23, 2010.

He was born on May 30, 1941, in McKees Rocks and was the son of Florence Scaden Gongloff and the late John Gongloff.

Mr. Gongloff was of the Catholic faith.

He retired after 13 years of service with Joy Manufacturing, in Cranberry Township, as a machinist.

William enjoyed attending flea markets and liked to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his wife Janet J. Markham Gongloff whom he married on May 26, 1962, two sons; William E. Gongloff Jr., of Clinton, and Robert J. Gongloff of Connoquenessing, four sisters; Lillian Kemnitz of Wisconson, Lucy (Robert) Larbig of Ohio, Helene (Steve) Demel of McKees Rocks, and Kathy (Bert) Neimeyer of McKees Rocks, one brother; Raymond of McKees Rocks, and three grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of William Edward Gongloff who died on Thursday, December 23, 2010, will be received on Sunday December 26, 2010, from 7-9 p.m. and Monday, December 27, 2010, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home Inc., 238 West Main Street, Evans City, PA 16033. A blessing service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home with Father William Ritzert officiating. The burial will follow in the Evans City Cemetery.
