Stephen M. Spisak

Died: 10/28/2020

Stephen M. Spisak, age 66 of Connoquenessing passed away Wednesday afternoon October 28, 2020 at his residence.

Born in Prospect February 4, 1954 he was the son of the late John and Rhea Stephenson Spisak and the late George and Carolyn Zehmisch Cook.

He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Connoquenessing.

Stephen was a life member of the Connoquenessing Vol. Fire Co., where he enjoyed spending time with the firemen . He had bowled for many years with the Special Olympics. He also enjoyed gardening, going fishing and watching the wildlife. He especially enjoyed drawing and giving his pictures to family and friends.

He was preceded in death by one step sister.

He is survived by one sister, Carol Ann (Tom) Adams of Canada, 4 step sisters, Linda (Vern) Thompson of West Sunbury, Ann (Bob) Burgard of Callery, Allison Zehmisch of Butler and Joan Martin of Bethel Park, 4 step brothers, John (Irene) Zehmisch of AZ, Robert Zehmisch of Pittsburgh, Michael (Jennifer) Zehmisch of Butler and George (Aline) Cook of GA and several nieces and nephews.

The family of Stephen M. Spisak who died October 28, 2020 will receive friends and relatives at the A.Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 West Main St., Evans City, Pa on Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8 P.M. A graveside service will be held on Monday November 2, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Main St., Connoquenessing, PA Burial will follow.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, everyone is asked to wear a mask in the funeral home, and at the cemetery and maintain social distancing.
