Frieda E. Carbo, age 80, of Mars passed away on Monday afternoon at her residence.
Born February 23, 1941 in Marshall Twp. she was the daughter of the late Daniel C. and Freda C. Borer Kohler.
Frieda was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mars, Pa.
She worked as a Hostess for Wendy’s in Cranberry Twp.
retiring in 2010.
Things Frieda enjoyed were Word Searches, watching the birds after her husband had fed them, decorating cakes for family and friends, sewing, ceramics and enjoying her family along with hosting AFS Exchange Students.
Survived by her husband, Chester E. Carbo Jr. who she married in July of 1962, one daughter, Sharon (Doug) Storch of NE., two sons, Todd (Sherri) Carbo of OH. and Wayne (Merri) Carbo of Saxonburg, also Carlos (Margarita) Arroyo of Chile who had been an exchange student who they considered as a 3rd son, one brother, Kenneth Kohler of TX, five grandchildren, Zac, Abigail, Olivia, Cameron, and Josh.
A celebration of her life will be held on April 23, 2022 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mars, PA. The service will begin at 1:00 PM with a reception immediately following.
