Carol Edna Danner Baney

Died: 1/20/2026

Carol E. Baney, age 82, of Harmony passed away on Tuesday morning January 20, 2026, with her family by her side.

Born in Pittsburgh, November 3, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Berry Danner.

She attended St. Gregory Catholic Church, Zelienople.

In addition to her parents Carol was preceded in death by her husband James E. Baney Jr. on September 12, 2024, two sisters and four brothers.

Carol enjoyed watching the Steelers, but above all she loved her family.

Carol is survived by two daughters, Leslie (Gary) Owens and Barb (Bob) Buchanan, two sons, James Baney III and Rich (Audrey) Baney, five sisters, Audrey (Lyle Deas.) Craft, Jeannie (Ray) Russ, Lois (George) White, Karen (Nick) Kujbus, and Joanne (Matt) Kravits, sister-in-law Betty Danner, six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren,

Services are private and burial will be in the Evans City Cemetery.
