Helen M. Hendrickson Kelley Alwine age 90, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday afternoon March 18, 2026 in Sunnyview Nursing and Rehab Center, Butler.
Born in Beaver, July 4, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Samuel W. and Emma G. Major Hendrickson.
She was Protestant by faith.
Helen had worked at Evergreen Nursing Home in Harmony and retired from St. Johns Nursing Home in Mars.
She enjoyed flowers. Her main love was in the home, cooking, baking, cleaning and maintaining her home and embroidering.
In addition to her parents Helen was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold D. Kelley and two brothers.
Helen is survived by her husband, Thomas A. Alwine whom she married June 16, 1984, also brothers and sisters-in-law.
Friends and relatives will be received at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, Evans City on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from Noon to 1:00 P. M. Services will follow at the Funeral Home.
