Henry “Cork” R. Kriess, age, 91 of Connoquenessing Twp. passed away Sunday morning at his residence.
Born Butler January 14, 1935, he was the son of the late William H. and Gertrude Saylor Kriess.
He was of the Lutheran Faith
Henry had worked at Pullman till its closing in 1982. He then drove a Mail Truck.
He served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.
Henry was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry M. Koegler and one son Robert Kriess and 10 siblings.
He is Survived by two sons, William J. (Cindy) Kriess and Dale L. Kriess both of Butler, daughter in law, Becky Kriess of Butler, three brothers, Jack, Ron, and Gary Kriess, one sister, Suzanne Weiland, 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
