Thomas W. Sherman age, 70, of Mars passed away Thursday afternoon October 29, 2026, in Allegheny General Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Pittsburgh, June 9, 1956, he was the son of the late Donald P. and Elva Bennett Sherman.
Tom retired from Batykefer Carpentry. He loved all types of woodworking and enjoyed watching woodworking shows on TV.
One of his favorite past times was cooking
In addition to his parents Tom was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Sherman and one son, Jason Sherman. He was also preceded in death by a sister Judy, and an infant brother Donnie.
He is survived by two sons, Donald Sherman and Shawn Sherman, both of FL., two sisters, Sill (Charles) Batykefer of Mars and Kathy Curtis of Saxonburg, 10 grandchildren, one great grandson, and nieces and nephews, and his two furry friends Little and Peanut.
A celebration of life will be held on November 14, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. from Christian Community Church, 5719 N. Montour Rd., Gibsonia, PA 15044.
