John A. "Jack" Morgan

Died: 11/26/2011

John A. Morgan, 75, better known to the many loved ones and friends as Jack was greeted into the loving arms of God early Saturday morning, November 26, 2011, after a courageous bout with an illness, at his residence in Evans City. Born in Pittsburgh on October 8, 1936, he was the son of the late John A. and Hilda Schmitt Morgan.

He was a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church, Evans City. He was a self employeed as an Auctioneer. He proudly served his country as an engineer in the United States Army.

He enjoyed History, with a special interest in the Civil War. He will be forever missed and remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, caring grandfather and most of all, a great man. Whether you knew him as Jack, Dad, or Pap, everyone can agree that he was a good and honest man. After working hard his entire life, he can finally rest. He will be always Loved, and forever missed.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia E. Saul Morgan, whom he married May 11, 1957: two daughters and a son, Stacey (William) Lang, Julie M. Young, and Michael (Melissa) Morgan, all of Evans City. Ten grandchildren: Alex, Sam, Christian and Morgan Lang, Hunter, Levi, Hannah, and Eva Morgan, and Chole and Jack Young.

Relatives and friends of John A. "Jack" Morgan, who died on Saturday, November 26, 2011, will be received at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 West Main Street, Evans City, PA 16033, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Monday, November, 28 , 2011. A Blessing service will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday November 29, at 10:30 A.M. Burial will take place in the Evans City Cemetery.
